Toni Carbó built Mas Candí with his best friend Ramón Jané before starting Celler La Salada in 2012. His family’s estate soils ring with life; they’ve been farmed sustainably for generations, untouched by chemicals, painstakingly cared for by his father and grandfather, who purchased their land in Les Parellades with proceeds from their grape sales. Toni’s wines are a mirror of his person: singularly lovely and lively, a winking balance of playful joy and soulful knowing.
